Survived the 1st month

, pinch, pinch.. My little girls have this thing about the first of a month and pinch themselves as if to say, we're still here. The first month of the year is always tough for most people especially in the finance department. After sqandering the december christmas bonus on what is and what nots, you could barely wait till the end of January. Well, we made it to the end of January. It's been okay I would say. My dairy is getting fuller and I have to regretfully turn down a few oppotunities( only got one body and one life) but thank God for opportunities, gigs to sing at .

Aaah the sun is shinning ..But I bet it will be cold under. Don't you just wish you had a designer weather ?? Dream on. The One upstairs turns it on .

Meteen komen de zielen tot rust en worden zorgen overgegeven aan God. De zang van Martin is overtuigend, rustig, warm, volwassen en op een prettige manier eenvoudig. De ware overtuigingskracht van het 'optreden' zit in de ruimte die wordt geboden aan de kracht en vrede van God zelf. Kleine onzuiverheden in de zang zijn hierdoor niet storend of vallen daardoor in het niet. Het is te merken dat Martin echt beleeft en gelooft wat hij zingt. Daardoor geloven de mensen in de zaal het ook: "Let not your heart be troubled. His tender word I hear. And resting on His goodness, I loose my doubts and fears".Ook al zingt Martin op de avond maar één lied. Het is genoeg om geestelijk opgebouwd naar huis te gaan.door Marcia

Superstitious. Huh?? All the craze about Friday the 13th. It was a great day for. Must be crazily blessed meself. I consider every day the day that the Lord has made, and so be it. Like someone I know used to say , the devil never made a day ! I got a good feeling about today though. I slept well last night and woke up with alarm this morning and my what a prayertime !

Nice 'foggy' day today in the Netherlands. Driving is such a joy !! Made it to the office. Thank God. I recently found out on one of the website I am registered on for independent christian musicians that I have been nominated in 3 categories for the 'Momentum Awards' Wow! Lazy blogger returns

Christmas was great in London as well as the ushering in of 2006. With Cath (wife) and My girls. Now we are back home in the netherlands. Home well, adopted home. familiar surroundings. The weather was not any better than London's. Nice and cold !! I am a winter person if that exists as an appelation.
