Handling compliments

.. can be difficult, but I've learnt in the years of music ministry and growing up
and going through school as not mr. popular to take them in stride. I have learnt
to be grounded and realise that it is God who takes the nobodies and makes them
somebodies, who takes the foolish of the world and uses them to confound the wise,
who gives uis the power, who turns the 'stone that the builders rejected' into the
cornerstone !

So when the compliments started flowing just before service yesterday night.. 'My
can you sing !, Are you the singer ? wow ! et. c, I just thanks the dear ladies politely,
and give God the glory for his 'gift' afterall, he made it all happen, I cannot gloat.

May we learn to remain humble, then we'll enjoy a loooong time at the top.
