Miracles happen: Lost but found
We drum it in our children's eyes; be careful how much details you give away on the web, the internet, the net. What with the advent of all the social networking sites. They start out innocent and have caused a bit of heartache here and there. However, some of us just can not afford to be out of that scene, being an artist albeit independent and wanting to engage with the 'fans' known and prospective. So it all started meny years ago when I signed up on the original MP3.com and now a search for my name will fill pages on end.
For once , my internet presence found a great use today. I have an office contact number for music business purposes, and while visiting the hospital today for a check up, dropped my debit card accidentally and did not realise it till my dear wife called and asked if my card was with me. I laughed and then panic set in. It was found by a stranger, who , yeah you guessed it (or not) checked on the web via the public phone book and found my number to call. I thank God, that it did not fall into wrong hands and people who'll love to steal. Thank God for the good sises of the Internet .
