A scam call! Beware of strange foreign calls to remove virusses

Called by someone with an Indian accent saying he was from some Microsoft related global call centre? He claimed things were being sent from my computer, that I could have some 'system related virus dat regular Antiviruses could not removed and proceeded insistently to show me these virusses. I querried him as to where he got my number and where he was calling from. He said Australia? The alarm bells were ringing and I did everything to stall the guy until he dropped the phone.
